Chester Harbour Swim

Chester Harbour Swim

The Chester Harbour Swim in support of the United Way of Lunenburg County.

Since 2010 Provincial Government Employees have (in all or part) swam a growing number of Nova Scotian harbours from Yarmouth to Sydney and many harbours in between.

They do this because they can and want to, but also to raise money for their communities.

This year the Harbour Swims will be open to any Nova Scotian who can swim 1,500 meters in 40 minutes and raise at least $150 for their local United Way.

Interested? Think that you can do it? Have a bucket list that needs some attention?

In 2018 60 swimmers raised over $30,000. This year we are looking for 100 swimmers. The 2018 local swim was held in Mahone Bay with 15 swimmers.
